Marriage Info

Marriage today means the same thing to God as it did when the first man and woman exchanged vows. The promise to Love, Honor and Cherish has not diminished and never will in the eyes of God or the Church. If you choose to be married in the Catholic Church, you are choosing to live as a Catholic Christian Family. We want to help you to prepare for this momentous step and help you to plan for a spirit filled life with Christ as the head of your household.

HOW DO WE GET STARTED?

To begin preparation, you must contact the rectory or call for the monthly Information Class. Give yourselves a minimum of 7 months before your wedding date. The Information Class will provide you with all the information you will need to successfully comply with the requirements for marriage within the Catholic Church. Please DO NOT reserve your reception hall until after you have attended this class. The church may not be available on the day you have chosen to have your wedding.

During the months prior to your wedding, you will partake in two required activities. They are:

Engaged Encounter Weekend
